FIRST YEAR SEMINAR RESOURCES: Home

These are resources that will support first year experience here at Bronx Community College.

Whether you are enrolled in an FYS class or just looking for information for a research project, you’ve come to the right place. Most of the resources in this Libguide are for freshman students and are developed to support you academically throughout your first year of college and beyond.

Many of your professors are going to ask you to come to the library to locate resources for a research paper, a speech, or some assignment that requires research; most of what you will need to complete these projects can be found here. This Libguide contains print and electronic resources that can help you with everything from writing, to time management, to just being organized. We are here to help you. If you would like to meet with me for a one-on-one consultation, please do not hesitate to contact me by email at carl.andrews@bcc.cuny.edu or by phone at (718)289-5100 x3568. I look forward to working with all of you. Welcome to Bronx Community College. :-)
