From the Library's Homepage, under Quick Search, locate the Library's OneSearch option.
Select Search
In Library's OneSearch, enter your keyword(s) in the search bar. For example, 'Global Health'.
Note: There is an option to sign-in using your CUNY login credentials. This gives you the ability to save searches, save item records, and other account options provided through OneSearch.
The search results generated are for both print and electronic items; therefore we have to perform additional steps to obtain e-books ONLY.
To narrow down the results there are limiters on the right sidebar, 'Filter my results', where you can narrow the search results by type, subject, etc.
To locate e-books on your topic, use the 'Filter my results' right sidebar and select “Full Text Online” AND "Books". Click “Apply Filters” at the bottom right. (Note: the search results will automatically update.)
Now you are able to locate e-books found in the library's catalog related to the subject searched, (in this case 'Global Health').
To access the e-book click on 'Full text available' under the title information or click the title and select "Full text available link." (Note: there may be more than one link to choose from).
Once you click on a full-text link it will direct you to the e-book.
(Note: For off-campus access, you may need to log-in with your CUNY login credentials).
