This guide helps both students and professors explore the CUNY collections and other relevant web-based resources that introduce exploration of the topics in the tabs above. Under each tab are listings/links to a few books, e-books, and databases accessible at Bronx Community College or elsewhere in the CUNY libraries. The selected web sites of cultural, activist, political, or educational organizations serve as points of departure for further exploration of the topics. Concept keywords and sample searches will be listed for each resource group so that students can explore these and similar topics independently.
Understanding Educational Reform in Chile's Young Democracy (1995-2017) is a research guide which is created in partial fulfillment of the requirements of the Fulbright-Hays Seminars Abroad program. Prof. Michael J. Miller was a grantee of the Summer 2017 Chile Seminar entitled "The Construction of Chilean Identity: Socioeconomic, Political, and Educational Reform." Special thanks is offered to the administrators and support staff of the Fulbright Chile and the International and Foreign Language Education (IFLE) office of the U.S. Department of Education for their superb organization of this seminar and for the opportunity to participate.
